Notice is hereby given in accordance with NH RSA 40:14 that the Madison School Board will conduct a hearing to receive public comment to consider rescinding the provisions of RSA 40:13 official ballot referendum form of meeting (known as SB 2) to return to a Traditional Town Meeting format.

ARTICLE 9: Shall we rescind the provisions of RSA 40:13 (known as SB 2), as adopted by the Madison School District on March 9, 2002, so that the official ballot will no longer be used for voting on all questions, but only for the election of officers and certain other questions for which the official ballot is required by state law? (3/5-majority ballot vote required)

Freedom Elementary is seeking two parents/community members to serve on the selection committee for the next Freedom Elementary School Principal, set to begin in the 2025-2026 school year. We value the voices and insights of our community as we work to identify an exceptional leader who will continue to foster growth and excellence in our school.
We anticipate meetings to begin in mid-February, and members should plan to attend 2-3 meetings in addition to the interview process.
If you are interested in serving, please send a letter explaining your interest and why you would be a good fit for the committee to Superintendent Whaland at [email protected].
Thank you for your support and engagement in this important process!
